Carlisle's death has been a shock to every vampire community out there. Even the Volturi at a loss of words. There is a new force showing itself in Forks, and it's not the wolf shape-shifters. There is a ring of real Werewolves showing up amongst the community, and Edward is on his toes. Being the second oldest in the coven, besides Carlisle, he has taken over his fathers position as leader and is hoping to take out these werewolves before they do them. The Volturi has been weighing their options for the past couple of days, and every time they make a decision, Alice knows about it. Though, not long after, they find an issue with said decision. This is making the Cullen's anxious.
Bella's transformation was to be set in the next couple of days, but Edward is now second guessing this thought now that there is an uproar running through their territory. Bella claims that she can help, and Alice is trying to tell him that she will not be like most other newborns, but his mind is still not made up. Some how, he thinks he will put her in danger if he changes her, but she will still be in danger as a human. Edward is at a loss, and unsure which situation would be better. Alice is reasuring Bella that Edward will change her, but his mind changes ever second. She won't tell the human that, though.
The werewolves are getting closer and closer to Cullen's home, and Edward knows this. Their thoughts keep getting clearer to him, and he is unsure on what his next move should be. Jacob's pack are angry with the werewolves, as well. The vampires are their's to take out. Jacob is still angry with the vampires for coming back when he was getting closer to Bella. This irritated the others shifters as well, so they are along side Jacob all the way. They are also at a loss, because they don't want the werewolves around and nor do they want to help the Cullen's.
As if things weren't bad enough, Victoria is still out there and this is pushing Edward into changing Bella sooner rather then later. Alice can't see the werewolves, but she can see Victoria, so while Edward keeps his ability trained on the werewolves, she keeps hers on Victoria. Maybe changing Bella now would be for the best...
