Appearance: Jefferson's eyes are oddly colored and hard to decypher; looking blue, green, and grey all at once. He has a head of mousy brown hair and a pointed face with a sprinkling of freckles across his nose. He only stands at five foot eight and a half inches, and dresses casually in whatever is clean.
Personality: Jefferson is rather shy and introverted, only ever feeling confident around his wife. However, he's also really protective of her and her naive nature and can lash out at those who want to take advantage of her. As a matter of fact, Loralei is the only one who can bring him out of his shell, making him rather unpredictable depending on the circumstances.
Powers: Full-spectrum invisibility, Jefferson is able to fade in and out of others sight, while also having complete stealth. He's even able to mask his psychic imprint from telepaths, depending on their strength; as well as mask his voice to only those of his choosing
History: Jefferson was born and raised in Helena, Montana to Jeffery and Agnes Claire; a mechanic and waitress who were too engrossed with their own lives to care for their children. Jefferson was practically raised by his older sister, Tristan, who was only five years older than him. While his parents focused on making money and bar hopping, Tristan made sure Jefferson brushed his teeth, took a bath, and ate three meals a day.
It wasn't easy being ignored and even though he had his sister, Jefferson easily fell into introversy, liking to be alone and being too shy to really make friends. He was six years old when he first met Loralei. She was odd and different from the other children, making her an easy target for their cruelty. Finally, Jefferson told them to back off going so far as to actually hit another student when they wouldn't leave Loralei alone.
Jefferson was suspended from school, but his parents barely bat their eyes. That didn't stop Tristan from giving him an earful, though, eleven years old and she was threatening to give him a good walloping. For three days Jefferson stayed home, until he was allowed back in school. From then on him and Loralei were inseperable.
Loralei easily became Jefferson's best friend and while she came from a family with a higher income, he never thought of her as some rich yuppie. She was just, well, Loralei. As he got older his feelings for her grew, from friendship to an incesent crush. Thirteen years old, Jefferson finally kissed her one day at the library, surprised by his own actions, his mutation was triggered and he faded out of sight. Jefferson was shocked, but even more so when Loralei accepted him.
It wouldn't be until a year later that they actually declared themselves boyfriend/girlfriend and three years after that they ran away from home to get married. With help from his sister, Jefferson and Loralei got their hands on an old camper, traveling around the country doing odd jobs here and there, making their way to New York.
When they finally arrived in the Big Apple, Jefferson and Loralei sold the camper in order to get into an efficiency apartment. Jefferson now works two jobs as a helping hand at Guthrie books and as a busboy in a dingy diner.
