Name: Lucas 'Luke' Richard Cassidy.
Alias: N/A.
Age: 18.
Birthday: 02/11/1995.
Hometown: Cicero, Illinois.
Family:
Richard Ryan Cassidy || Father
Nancy Kathleen Cassidy || Mother
Appearance: While no model, Luke Cassidy is tall at six feet and has a set of gorgeous brown eyes. Slightly boyish in looks, he mainly wears jeans, whatever clean shirt he can find, and a pair of chucks. Described as cute, Luke mostly charms with his personality rather than his appearance.
Personality: Luke is very much a goof and quick to reply with sarcasm. One to love pranks and a good time. Luke mostly has a good heart though, able to make friends with nearly everyone. He's not 'popular' per se, but his easy going nature seems to draw people in. Especially since he can somehow get his hands on whatever your poison may be.
Powers: None, human.
History: Luke was nothing more than a mistake since the moment the pregnancy test read positive. Nancy Morgan and Richard Cassidy were both going nowhere in life, eighteen years old their parents forced them to get married. At first it might have been exciting, but soon Richard began drinking and life got harder. Nancy ruined his life and in turn so did Luke. He wasn't even a minute old and both of his parents despised him. While neither cared for Luke much, Nancy kept him alive.
And he was reminded of his mother's generosity on a daily basis. Luke was a fussy baby, a shit of a toddler, a dumb kid, and a good for nothing teen. Not to mention the fact he wasn't a mutant like his parents, meant he was a complete fuck up to Nancy and Dick. His father, however, did encourage bad behavior such as smoking and drinking. And when Luke wasn't in the mood for a beer with the old man, he was called a pussy and more than not roughened up.
Home life wasn't perfect, for Luke it was a shit hold, a living hell. So when he was at school or at a party, he made the most of it. People liked him, mainly because he could get his hands on grade A quality marijuana and had an older friend who didn't mind buying him beer. A lot of the time Luke drove to Oak Park, just to get away from the trailer park he lived in, to get a change of scenery. Sure, he'd never be able to afford one of big houses, but he didn't mind the feel he got whenever he walked into one and everyone knew his name. He rarely 'crashed' the prep parties, most often invited. It was such a party that his life took a drastic change.
Hanna St. James had been that girl he'd always noticed, but only spoke to a couple times. Why he had never engaged her in conversation before was beyond him. The moment he walked up to her, time was lost. And with the alcohol he'd consumed, the door he kept closed to everyone else was open. He wasn't completely drunk, but Hanna made it easy for him to talk about stuff better left unsaid in public.
Luke was far from being a virgin, but that night he was as careful with Hanna as he could be. Luke never felt these feelings before. Girls come and go, but he wanted Hanna to stay in his life. So, they began dating. It wasn't something they broadcasted and like hell would he tell his parents about her. But Luke met her parents a good handful of times. Liking her father, but knowing her mother deeply disapproved of him. Which only made things a bit more exciting each time he saw the St. James'.
Those couple of months had been the best so far in Luke Cassidy's life. He never before felt this way about a girl, his chest knotted up at the thought of her, his heart-rate accelerated whenever he was near her. He loved her in his arms and all he thought about was kissing her or hearing her voice. Hanna was the only one who knew what truly went on at home, the only one who truly cared about him. Or so he thought.
The pregnancy scare had him on edge, but on the outside he kept calm while Hanna freaked out. Even going so far as to get her a test and brought her back to his house. Thankfully his parents worked, otherwise the shit would have really hit the fan and Luke never wanted Hanna to see what he went through first hand. Waiting while she was in the bathroom, Luke could feel himself getting more and more nervous. Whatever the outcome, he promised himself he would stay by Hanna's side through it all. When he was told it was a false alarm, he couldn't help the look of relief on his face. His parents had been around their age when they had him and he never wanted to end up like his parents. He couldn't even fathom it.
The day went as according to plan, they went to a movie and took a walk in the park. They kissed goodnight and she went home. He waited for her call for what seemed like forever. When he didn't hear from her for a couple days, which was very unlike Hanna, he finally called her house only to get a short reply from her mother that Hanna didn't want to see him again. Luke didn't know what was going on, but figured Hanna needed a bit of space after the scare they had.
Giving it a week, Luke actually went to the St. James residence and knocked on the door, coming face to face with her father. Luke was told that Hanna was gone and when he questioned it, he was given the same short reply that he was given by Hanna's mother and the door was shut it his face. What the fuck? Hanna was gone? Where did she go? What was going on?
As the months went by and he didn't hear from Hanna, Luke forced himself to go on. Hanna had gotten him back on track with his grades and as if he didn't want to let her down he focused on his studies. It was a surprise to everyone, but his teachers, that he actually got a scholarship to NYU's Silver School of Social Work. No one understood how he wanted to become a social worker in order to help kids that had similar life's as his own.
But he knew that Hanna would.
