Appearance: Emily has a rather sleek/classy look, she usually has her medium brown hair down and wavy and wears jeans and other clothing that accentuate her figure. She absolutely loves high heels, and even though she’s already 5’8 as is, she does not mind the extra height. She enjoys the brown leather jacket that she owns and can be seen in nice shirts. As for her facial features, they are almost cat-like. She has a small nose and thin lips. She’s got large mossy green eyes, and neatly-waxed eyebrows.
Personality: The first word that comes to people’s minds when they are asked to describe Emily is manipulative. She enjoys messing with people’s minds, and finds enjoyment in making people really think things through, as she does. She is not the type to just go with the flow, normally she thinks things through before actually doing something. Emily does not like to show her emotions easily, as she’s afraid to let people in, especially after what had gone on with her when she was younger. This has made Emily rather cold towards people, and it takes a very long time before she can truly trust someone.
Powers: Emotion manipulation. The only way she can do this is when she has physical contact with someone, however she’s been trying to get it to work without having to do that. When she does use her powers, her eyes go black for a brief second, and this is something Emily has yet to figure out why that happens, or how to stop it.
History: Emily was born to Kelly and Michael Brown on May 15th, in Windsor, England. Growing up, Emily was taught to be better than everyone else, and was expected to get better grades than everyone else in her school. This put a lot of pressure on young Emily, and it strained her relationship with her parents. At the age of 8, her family and her moved out to America to live in Washington DC, her father having been a lawyer was hoping to work his way up in the system. When she was 10, her parents died in a car accident, and since her parents never seemed to keep in contact with any family members, she was sent into foster care. She moved around America quite a bit, some families were nicer than others. The worst were the Hamilton's, because she was the first family she had when her powers were developing. It didn’t take long for them to notice something wasn’t right about Emily, and soon after they found out she was a mutant she was kicked out.
At the age of 14, soon after she was kicked out of the family, she decided to give up on trying to find a loving family. To her, there was no family out there that would ever care about her. Instead she stayed with a friend she met while at a small shop one day, trying to get some food. She stayed there until she was 18.
Emily started going into the business of finding rare and antic items and selling them for a lot more money. This gave her enough money to move out of the small apartment she had in DC.
A few years later, while at a bar, Emily met a guy named Hunter. The two really hit off, and Emily started to put trust in him. After about two months, they moved into an apartment together, and for once Emily was feeling truly happy. However, after 7 months, Hunter left her, telling her that things were not working out and that she should move on with her life, like he was.
This hurt Emily deeply, and her trust for him was quickly broken. It’s been three years since that happened, and Emily has recently moved to Queens, New York. She found a nice loft to live in and recently brought a Siamese cat named Samson.
