Full Name: Fitz Jeremy Darmonte.
Alias: Insight.
Birthday: August 25th, 1976 | 33 years old.
Hometown: London, England.
Appearance: Standing at 6’4”, Fitz is fairly tall and has a somewhat muscular build. His face is considered to be handsome, and his blonde hair is currently kept at a longer, shoulder length style, though when bored Fitz will chop it off into a shorter, more sophisticated look. His skin is fairly pale, due to his knack for burning not tanning, and his eyes are a shade of pale blue.
Personality: Despite his rather reckless and carefree attitude during his teen years, Fitz has grown into a rather serious man. His sense of humor, though present, is fairly dry, and though he’s fairly outgoing and charismatic around his family, Fitz can seem rather reserved, snobby, and standoffish around others outside of the Darmonte clan.
Powers: Empathy; through the use of emitted pheromones, Fitz can influence people’s emotions. He doesn’t have full control over this power, and thus has to sometimes convince people vocally, to feel what he wants them to feel. When Fitz is feeling a particular strong feeling, it sometimes affects others around him.
History: The first of many sons born to Jeremy Darmonte and Carla Gordon, Fitz grew up in a life of complete luxury. All his wants as well as many needs were met, and he grew up travelling around the world, due to both his father and mother’s work. Being the eldest son, a lot was expected of Fitz. Nonetheless he enjoyed goofing off, and using his name and looks in order to get what he wanted, during his teen years. He was surprised to discover that while trying to talk his way into a twenty-one and over club in New York City. Unknowingly at the time, his mutation manifested and Fitz and friends were easily allowed into the club. Over the next couple weeks he found himself getting his way about everything. It was only, however, at school when Fitz found a jealous boyfriend ready to kick his ass that Fitz realized something was up. Doing some research, Fitz came to the conclusion that he was a mutant.
From that point, he all but rejected his powers. He stopped trying to get what he wanted, in fear of manipulating and controlling his closest friends. His family, it seemed was immune to his powers however. Nonetheless Fitz mellowed out, stopped partying so much, and began to focus more on school. Graduating with honors, when Fitz turned eighteen, he opted to attend college in America; New York City to be exact. He attended Columbia University, managed to get a degree in business, and upon receiving his diploma, was shoved into a position in his father’s company. Fitz travelled around the world, almost always living out of a suitcase. It wasn’t exactly his dream job, but it was something to do, and for that Fitz was grateful. He lived in hotel rooms for the most part, and outside of business interactions, kept to himself. Every now and then Fitz would find a particular girl he liked; one he would date for a month or two before dumping. The fear of his powers slipping up was always in the back of his mind, and for that he restricted himself.
Recently his travelling was stopped, due to the virus. Fitz opted to stay in London with his family, and do work around the city. He hated being cooped up in one place, but with being a mutant himself. His sister, Zara had come forth with her powers, and though Jeremy and Carla didn’t bat an eye, Fitz had a feeling that because of the nature of his powers, their reaction could be different. When his baby sister was kicked out of the family home, upon a cure being found for the Legacy Virus, Fitz was sent to New York City a couple weeks later, in order to watch out for Zara, and make sure she got her ass in gear. It was while in the city that Fitz stumbled upon the Hellfire Club, a mutant bar that had been basically shut down through the Legacy epidemic. On a whim he purchased it, quit his job at his father’s company, and has been steadily working to get the bar open again.
The club has since been successfully opened, and gets fairly good business. It was through the Hellfire Club that Fitz met Rogue. A mutual attraction was developed, but after a somewhat disaster of a date, as well as the fact that Rogue got back with her ex-boyfriend, that relationship fizzled out. He has also gained a roommate; a young, naive woman by the name of Cayce, who also is employed at the Hellfire Club.
