Name: Raelin Alicia Marlowe.

Family Tree
David Timothy Marlowe [father]
Lily Marie Marlowe [mother]
Cameron David Marlowe [brother]
Jesse Brianna Marlowe [sister-in-law]
Robbie Elias Marlowe [nephew]
Sylar Leo Marlowe [son; deceased]
Lily Regan Madrox [daughter; 4 years]
William Sylar Madrox [son; 4 years]
Appearance: Raelin is an average sized girl with long wavy hair that flows past her shoulders and hazel colored eyes. She comes to a height of 5'5" and is around 125lbs. She has three tattoos all of which are on her left hand; a small tribal tattoo on her palm and the name of her deceased son, Sylar, on her wrist. Seer dresses very casually; jeans, nice shirts, sometimes a skirt. She mostly wears browns and earthy colors, nothing that is too bright.
Personality: Anyone in Seer's life knows she's a very independent woman. Due to the cards she's been dealt, she hasn't had the luxury to depend of even co-depend on a man. Having to grow up way too soon, she developed a take-no-shit from nobody attitude and she doesn't let people push her around easily. While a bit melodramatic at times, Seer's confidence and friendly nature make it easy to see past her flaws.
Powers: Seer has the telepathic ability to read a person's mind through brainwaves, which is something she can't just turn off. However, she has learned to control it to a degree, forcing all the mind waves into a single constant 'hum'. Because Seer is colorblind, her mutation has an interesting effect on how she see's people. Processing them as if they have an aura of color surrounding them. Colors varying from person to person almost like DNA. Seer is also a minor telekinetic, but she doesn't use it often.
History:Lily Powell and her sister had planned their lives out together. Marilyn would be a fashion designer and Lily would be the CEO. They were going to move to New York and become the biggest designer company out there. Marilyn went to the Art Institute of Seattle while Lily headed to Seattle University. It was there that she met David Marlowe. It was a friends-at-first-site kind of relationship and during their sophomore year they established that they were boyfriend and girlfriend. As their relationship progressed, David became more demanding. Lily loved him, though, and would do anything to stay with him, when he asked her to marry him she said yes, when she got pregnant at twenty-one she agreed with David that she needed to quit college, that there put a strain on her relationship with her sister.
David also made Lily get baptized. He was from an over-the-top religious family and he wasn’t about to have a wife that wasn’t committed to the Lord. When their son Cameron came into the picture, David seemed to have settled down some, but as the boy got older and got into his terrible twos, David grew back into his God-fearing self.
When Lily grew pregnant again, she wanted to leave David. The way her husband treated their son with ‘god this’ and ‘god that’, made her sick. She believed, but her family wasn’t so hardcore. Her sister even volunteered to help her out, fly her to New York and help her settle. But, Lily stayed, something that drew her whole family away as they couldn’t stand David.
Raelin Alicia Marlowe was then born on August 16, 1987. She seemed to bring a peace to the household, but again it didn’t last long. Raelin endured a life of going to church and praying at night, listening to her fathers ramblings about God. When mutants started to become more known her father ranted over how they were an abomination. And at eleven she feared her father would hate her when she went through the transition of becoming a mutant. So, she kept it a secret.
When Raelin got into her teens she started experience so many other things. She started thinking for herself and finding that she had a voice and was going to use it. She tried controlling her abilities, but found they could not be harnessed.
Fourteen years old, Raelin found herself with a boyfriend, Leo Scott. She, of course, kept this from her father, but her mother knew. It was one night with Leo that would change things for her forever. She slept with Leo and two months later she found she was pregnant. Cameron was the first to know as he was with her when she took the test, her brother was always the one to try and care for her. Then, Leo learned the news and he denied ever sleeping with her, earning a beat down from Cameron. When Lily found out her fourteen year old daughter was pregnant, she tried to remain calm. And the three of them kept it from David for as long as they could.
When David found out, he was furious. Telling Raelin she was a disgrace to the family. Only when David was close to hitting his child, did Lily finally stand up and tell him to rightfully fuck off. That they could pull through and everything would be alright. And Raelin thought things would be alright, but then her brother was arrested for possession of narcotics and was taken to prison. Although it seemed she had her mother on her side, Cameron was her rock and without him she knew things would go down hill.
Raelin stayed in school and her fifteenth birthday passed before she gave birth to a son. She was rushed to the hospital from her History class where her parents met her there. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on September 16, 2001 and named him Sylar Leo Marlowe. It was while Raelin was resting that her father went behind her back, having her mother forge her signature to put the baby up for adoption. The doctors and nurses were also told that Raelin didn’t want to see the baby again and rushed everything so that when Raelin awoke Sylar would be gone.
The deceit had Raelin hating her parents and she stayed with them for one more year, before telling them something she knew would get them to kick her out of the house. She told them she was a mutant and when they didn’t believe her she proved it to them. It took less then five minutes for her father and Uncle Joshua to drag her out of the house and her mother to pack her a suitcase and throw it out her bedroom window. Inside the suitcase were clothes, a letter about Sylar’s adoption, and some money.
The only place that Raelin thought of going was Vegas. And she only went there because Cameron had sworn that when the ‘nugget’ was born that he would pack them up and take them to live in the ‘Capitol of Second Chances’. Of course he was in jail and Sylar was with some family, so Raelin went alone.
Getting a job was hard, even though she looked older than sixteen, people still carded, especially in Sin City. But finding a bar, she finally got tired of being told ‘no’, so she simply blackmailed the owner. It was a ‘give me a job or I’m going to tell your wife you’re sleeping with three of the waitresses’ kind of deal. She was given a job, although the pay sucked and she hated men always grabbing her ass. It was one guy in particular who did, that she ended up falling for. Pogue Sterling was the typical bad boy and the friends she made warned her about him, but she didn’t listen.
Raelin and Pogue had a very on again off again kind of relationship for four years, before she found him sleeping with her roommate and she hightailed it out of Las Vegas and headed for New York. It was closer to where her son was anyway, and she found she would have better luck finding him there.
When she first arrived in New York, she had decided to go to the Xavier Institute, but then she met a girl by the name of, Rogue. Raelin ended up joining the Brotherhood. Three days into it, she met a man who called himself The Doctor and after an argument with John Allerdyce, the Doctor had managed to talk her into going to the mansion.
She hadn’t been at the mansion long when she had a need to go out to the city and get a drink. She met a man named Jack, and he seemed very interesting, especially his job. Although, it seemed that her ability got her into a deep whole, she began to describe it to him. She ended up being taken back to the Station, where she was held there for some time, before being drugged and sent back to the mansion. Her memory whipped of Jack and her time at the Station.
Living at the mansion, Raelin met Jamie Madrox and managed to fall in love with him. When he heard her story he promised her that he would help her get her son back, and within three month she had traveled to Vermont and gotten her son. Jamie then got an apartment for then to live in.
Six months into her relationship with Jamie, Raelin found she was pregnant, and with twins no less. Sylar was so happy that he was going to be a big brother and Jamie was happy enough that he proposed to her. It seemed things were going fast, but Raelin just thought she was lucky. She was four months pregnant when Jamie claimed he had family business to take care of back in his hometown, so he left with promises on coming back. With him gone, she didn’t want to stay in their apartment so she went back to the mansion. It was back at Xavier’s that the memories of her time at the Station with Jack and the people he worked with, came flashing back. And she made Jack know how pissed she was, but couldn’t stay mad for long.
Jamie never called, never checked in; she was left pregnant with his children and Sylar always tried to make her feel better. It wasn’t long before Raelin then got a call from her brother, he was let out of jail with parole and he wanted to see his sister. Raelin drove to his apartment with Sylar in tow and they all had a good time catching up. Cameron loved his nephew and started calling the twins jellybeans. It had gotten late, and Cameron didn’t want Raelin driving back to Westchester so they had ended up spending the night. Come morning though, Raelin awoke and found Sylar gone, she’d woken up Cameron and they searched his apartment and the building, only to become devastated when they saw that Sylar had drowned in the pool.
Sylar’s funeral was in New York, but there was also a memorial in Seattle, where she reconnected with Leo a little; promising to call in on one another every now and again.
Sylar’s death broke her and for the rest of her pregnancy she was absolutely depressed, although tried desperately to keep her health up for the twins. She also became better acquainted with Link, Jack’s wife. When the twins were finally born, it had been Link who drove her to the hospital, and Link was the one in the room with her when she had a C-Section. September 21, 2008 Lily Regan and William Sylar were born.
Raelin stayed at the mansion for a long while, before Dia, her friend and The Doctor’s significant other, asked her if she wanted to move in with them. Raelin was surprised by it, but she took the offer, promising it wouldn’t be a long arrangement. She was insistent on getting a place for herself and the twins.
The twins’ first birthday past and everything seemed to be going great. Until the Doctor disappeared, worrying bother Dia and herself. Then, Dia vanished which had Raelin fearing the worst. In a bid to find them she had hired a nanny, Lusie, to watched the twins and Parker, while she searched Westchester and the City high and low, listening in on peoples mind waves.
One of these nights the stress of everything had her taking a break with one Isaac Wilson, having the best one-night stand a girl could have. Considering it was Jack’s brother, well… She didn’t really think about it and she never told him she knew of Jack.
When Dia and the Doctor showed back up, Raelin was happy with tears as Parker was reunited with them. It was then that she decided she needed to give this family their peace and started hunting for a job. Having looked up her Aunt Marilyn, she was given a great job, and was trying to rake in enough doe to get an apartment for herself.
